It happens to all of us in time (unless like the real Duquesa you die at 47).
My Duquesa is still alive and having to deal with it. She is very vain so it is causing some pain but her nature is so strong and defiant I am sure that in the end she will accept it and enjoy it. And why not? Grey is such a beautiful colour.
