Rather a shame to end up with no result and nothing but an empty white page beside her but all the clues have lead nowhere and the important witnesses have made themselves scarce. 
But that happens quite often doesn't it?
You think you are getting somehere, everything is falling into place, it even feels like some divine hand is guiding you, then suddenly nothing, and you are left hanging over empty space...
